PEER EDUCATION: Ports help Ports

This sub-activity foresees the development, through a peer consultation approach, of skills, tools and methods improved, harmonized and more widely applicable, as well as the dissemination and implementation of these new methods and their post-implementation evaluation.

Romanian Naval Authority (RNA) that has already obtained the environmental certification will organize, with the collaboration and support of Universus, one full immersion training course about a specific environmental issue (f.ex. oil pollution monitoring and cleaning techniques in port areas). Each Port Authority will choose two trainees within its internal technical staff to participate in the training activities.

A post-implementation evaluation of the tools, methods and skills provided is foreseen within each Port Authority.
